ADCQ (including ADTQ) organisation chart as at 1 July 2009

Commissioner

The head of the ADCQ is the Commissioner who reports to the Qld Attorney-General and Minister for Industrial Relations.

The Commissioner has an Executive Assistant who reports to the Commissioner.

The Commissioner has a Deputy who reports to the Commissioner.

Complaint Management

The State Director (Complaint Management) reports to the Commissioner.

The Complaint Management unit is made up of:

  • two Principal Conciliators, who report to the State Director;
  • two Senior Conciliators, who report to the Principal Conciliators;
  • four Conciliators, who report to the Principal Conciliators;
  • two Intake Officers, who report to the State Director (Complaint Management).

Support Services

The Manager (Support Services) reports to the Deputy Commissioner.

The Support Services unit is made up of:

  • one Senior Administrative Officer, who reports to the Manager (Support Services);
  • one IT Administrator, who reports to the Manager (Support Services);
  • one Information & Records Manager, who reports to the Senior Administrative Officer;
  • two Administration Officers, who report to the Senior Administrative Officer.

Legal

Commission's Legal Unit is made up of one Principal Lawyer, who reports to the Deputy Commissioner.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Unit

The A&TSI Unit Co-ordinator reports to the Manager (Community Relations).

The A&TSI Unit is made up of:

  • one A&TSI Assistant Human Rights Officer, who reports to the A&TSI Unit Co-ordinator.

Community Relations

The Manager (Community Relations) reports to the Deputy Commissioner.

The Community Relations unit is made up of:

  • one Training Co-ordinator, who reports to the Manager (Community Relations);
  • 1.5 Community Relations Officers, who report to the Manager (Community Relations);
  • one Librarian, who reports to the Manager (Community Relations).

Rockhampton Office

The Regional Manager (Central Qld) reports to the Deputy Commissioner.

The Rockhampton office is staffed by:

  • one Conciliator who reports to the Regional Manager (Central Qld);
  • one Assistant Human Rights Officer who reports to the Regional Manager (Central Qld).

Townsville Office

The Regional Manager (North Qld) reports to the Deputy Commissioner.

The Townsville office is staffed by:

  • one Conciliator who reports to the Regional Manager (North Qld);
  • one Assistant Human Rights Officer who reports to the Regional Manager (North Qld).

Cairns Office

The Regional Manager (Far North Qld) reports to the Deputy Commissioner.

The Cairns office is staffed by:

  • one Conciliator who reports to the Regional Manager (Far North Qld);
  • one Assistant Human Rights Officer who reports to the Regional Manager (Far North Qld).

Tribunal

The Commissioner has responsibility for the financial administration of the Anti-Discrimination Tribunal Queensland registry (until 30/11/09).

The Tribunal is managed by the Registrar who reports to the Deputy Commissioner.

The Tribunal is staffed by:

  • one Case Manager who reports to the Registrar.
