Accessibility

AAA Compliance

This site complies with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines of the World Wide Web consortium, which require websites to be universally accessible. Websites should cater for users using screenreaders, braille readers and other assistive technologies, should use the simplest possible language to assist users with cognitive disabilities and should assist users with low vision or who are partially sighted. This site is rated AAA compliant, the highest level. This has been verified by using independent validation tools and manually inspected to ensure full compliance.

Browsing the site

The site will display best using a style sheets-capable browser e.g. Netscape Navigator 4 or Internet Explorer 4 (or later version), at a minimum resolution of 800 x 600. The site content will also be displayed in text-based browsers, browsers that do not support style sheets and screenreaders.

There are some extra links for screenreaders, which are hidden from recent browsers. These links will be displayed on older and text-based browsers.

To alter the size of the screen text

You can enlarge or reduce the size of the screen text if you wish. In Internet Explorer, press Ctrl and mouse scroll wheel (or, from the menu, View, Text Size, then select a size from the list). In Netscape 4, press Ctrl and ] to enlarge the font size, or Ctrl and [ to reduce.

Emails to this site

Right to Information

Arrangements and procedures for accessing information and documents of the Commission, and amending personal information.

The Right to Information is the Queensland government's approach to giving the community greater access to information.

If the information you want is not on our website, contact us to see if we have it and can release it to you, or if we can refer you elsewhere.

You can make a formal application for access to information that is not your personal information. A prescribed application fee and other charges apply under the Right to Information Act 2009. An application must be made in the approved form which you can download from the Queensland government Smart Service website.

If you want to access or amend your own personal information, you can contact us or make a formal application under the Information Privacy Act 2009 in the approved form.
